An amazing restoration project with a view that just has to be seen to be believed !!

This house is completely self-sustaining, a true solar powered eco-home. High on the hillside, restored by an interior designer, all the spaces of this house are fantastic !

On approaching, the imposing traditional grey walls don't let on what a special place this is. The driveway is bumpy, the shrubbery is quite overgrown. Wander up the pathway to the side, past a pile of logs, in between the outbuildings and the simple front door is on your left. Open it and it is as if a switch has just been flicked on inside your head, and an instantaneous smile slaps itself on your face.

The interiors are quirky and convey the lively and intriguing life of the owner - mixing an eclectic blend of artworks, collectables, object d'art, from original Ralph Lauren & Armani publicity shots, to African wall-hangings, to a chandelier made from Ouzo bottles, it doesn't get more eccentric than this. Beautiful !

The main house has two spacious double bedrooms both en-suite, upstairs is the kitchen dining area and main living room which opens onto the covered terrace with dining seating for 10. Up a short pathway is the infinity edged swimming pool which commands the most spectacular views down to the sea - and beside this are two further double en-suite bedrooms within the guesthouse.

As mentioned before, this house is a self-sustaining eco-home and as such does need to be looked after with some care so as not to disrupt its balance - you don't perhaps get quite all the mod-cons, i.e.: no dishwasher, as the system/batteries cannot always support high level electric consumption.

For peace, privacy, and a stunning location - this really is the place to come and get away from the normal life.
